  2. That first setting is very very rare these days - its called succession or something, and is ideal for wildlife, especially the almost extinct Bob White Quail. We had a fallow field like that surrounded by shards of forest and a creek here in Columbia (WUSC) , some unused State land. Recently they cleared it and leveled and filled it in to put completely useless SCLRAD and DMH CAMH facilities that are nothing but huge sinkholes of millions upon millions and 100% ci=ontrived state jobs that serve little if any purpose except provide contrived state jobs and retirements and pensions for several hundred people, almost all abnormal droids - alien like robots.

    1. Needless to say - the quail and all other wildlife were driven off that land.
